I just completed the 40-hour Basic Mediation course at the Austin Dispute Resolution Center and couldn’t be more impressed. The program was extremely well-organized, with a perfect balance of materials, fact patterns, exercises, and role plays that made the learning experience both engaging and practical. The quality of the trainers was outstanding — each brought unique insights from their diverse professional backgrounds, which really enriched the course. Everyone involved was kind, professional, and clearly dedicated to helping participants succeed. I left the course feeling confident and well-prepared to begin mediating. Highly recommend to anyone interested in mediation, whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills
